"Home" by Luke Bunch

"Home" by Luke Bunch

I've been out walking these lands
Down by the glen
With the house that we built with our hands

As these hills need rain
For valleys below
I need your help to make this house a home

This place is a treasure we found
And we'll bury our burdens
Deep in its beautiful ground
And we'll reap of the harvest
For joy in our hearts to resound

As this earth needs rain
For our dreams to grow
I need your help to make this house a home

Like the flow of these waters
Smoothing these rocks into stones
So will we, the two of us
Be weathered, but never alone

As birds need sky
And wings to hold them
I need your help to make this house a home
This house, a home
